The Florida-based gaming specialist Alienware, which was acquired by Dell back in 2006, is not exactly known for making gaming laptops that provide an impressive bang for the buck. However, thanks to a current deal, a decent configuration of the Alienware m17 R5 has now received a notable discount at the company’s official online shop.

Specifically, the 17-inch gaming laptop with the fast AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, 16GB of DDR5 dual-channel memory and the AMD Radeon RX 6700M graphics card with 10GB of GDDR6 VRAM can now be ordered for US$1,146 by applying the two stackable coupon codes “GAMING10” and “ARMMPPS” in the shopping cart. In this case, the Alienware m17 R5 comes with the base 1080p display with 165Hz as well as a 512GB SSD. The machine can be freely configured with other components, but the associated surcharges make this specific AMD configuration appealing from a price-performance perspective.

We thoroughly tested a vastly different variant of the Alienware m17 R5 just a few weeks ago, but prospective buyers should still want to check out our comprehensive review video on YouTube as some of our findings also apply to this more affordable configuration. The gaming laptop for example features a sturdy metal chassis and good maintenance options, and we also liked the comparatively quiet cooling system. Overall, this deal for the Alienware m17 R5 can be a reasonable choice for gamers who are in the market for a 17-inch gaming laptop with the renown brand name.
