Around the past 4 to five a long time, there have been a lot of major developments in gaming laptops, to the issue in which we’re no extended viewing enormous bulky laptops but slim, strong gaming equipment. Possibly a single of the most effectively-acknowledged lineups of gaming laptops is Asus’ ROG, and a single of the greatest underneath that manufacturer is the Zephyrus M16, perhaps 1 of the most excellent laptops out there. Luckily for us, Most effective Buy has a whopping $600 price cut, bringing it down to $1,550 from the standard $2,150 it retails for.
Why you need to invest in the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16

Increase the 16GB of DDR5 RAM, the quickest on the market place, and you’ll locate a clean practical experience when employing the M16. The only genuine draw back here is the battery existence, which is not good, despite the fact that that is an challenge we nonetheless see on increased-finish gaming laptops. Suffice it to say, don’t assume to get more than a few hours of gaming out of it unless of course it is plugged in.
All in all, the ROG Zephyrus M16 is a person of the greatest gaming laptops out there, and while it’s normally very expensive, this offer from Finest Obtain delivers it down to a far more inexpensive $1,550 and tends to make this an even much better laptop. HP is selling the new Omen 17 gaming laptop with an Intel Core i7-13700HX at a 16{b7c9e2c88beb1a84f22d94ab877a147f4adc4b3519717f3f957a0f34e16918d1} discount (Image: HP)
A 10-percent coupon code brings the powerful configuration of the HP Omen 17 with an i7-13700HX and RTX 4080 very close to the US$2,000 mark, which is a more or less reasonable price considering the sky-high MSRPs for the 2023 models of most gaming laptops.
Most gamers are probably aware of the painfully high prices of most gaming laptops that have recently hit the market, and RTX 4080-powered machines such as the brand-new 2023 HP Omen 17 probably remain out of reach for most buyers from a financial perspective. However, affluent enthusiasts with a large budget can finally save a few hard-earned dollars on the purchase of one of these new notebooks.
For example, a high-end configuration of the aforementioned HP Omen 17 with the fast Intel Core i7-13700HX and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 with 12 GB of VRAM can now be ordered for US$2,033 in the manufacturer’s official online store. To get this price, please use the coupon code “GAMEAPRIL10” after the gaming laptop has been added to the shopping cart. This version of the HP Omen 17 also comes with the 17-inch QHD display, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, but the coupon code may also work for more budget-friendly configurations.
Before ordering, please check out our recent review of a slightly different model variant of the 2023 HP Omen 17. Among other things, we praised the gaming laptop for its decent 165Hz display as well as the quick SSD and the second available M.2 slot. Furthermore, we liked HP’s software that allows undervolting, although the machine’s battery life, noisy cooling system and underperforming RTX 4080 didn’t exactly impress us. But as it approaches the US$2,000 mark, the Core i7-13700HX-equipped notebook is a solid choice in this price range until other competitors receive similar discounts.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
I have just noticed an certainly brilliant gaming notebook offer in the ongoing Amazon Spring Sale that I believe totally blows the others out of the water today.
It can be this RTX 3070-outfitted MSI Katana GF66 for just £899 (was £1,599) (opens in new tab), a device that presents an remarkable lineup of specs for a relatively modest price stage. This is the offer in whole:
Far better than the competitors nowadays
What I enjoy about this individual listing is that it can be a real hidden gem in the Amazon Spring Sale. It is not on the front page it is not even displayed prominently on the gaming laptops classification web page. It is fairly merely just sitting there on site two or a few of the benefits web page minding its own organization.
It is, having said that, a machine which is a lot, significantly far better worth than some of the other listings. For case in point, you’ve got got selections like this Acer Nitro 5 for £1,085 (opens in new tab) or this Asus TUF A15 for £999 (opens in new tab) – both equally of which are pricier than the MSI when featuring a decidedly inferior RTX 3060 graphics card. By comparison, the RTX 3070 in the MSI definitely blows them away effectiveness-sensible – and you get a massive 1TB SSD as the cherry on top rated.
More mature, but however very good…
If there’s one particular caveat I can think of with this MSI GF66 it is really that it truly is a slightly older equipment now. Neither the RTX 3070 or the Intel Core i7 inside of are the most current factors – which is undoubtedly why it can be acquired such a deep discount in the Amazon Spring Sale. Like with lots of merchandise on sale today, the retailer is undoubtedly attempting to shift this matter right before the next era of devices arrives in the warehouse.
If you want the most current and greatest parts, then it truly is a great strategy to wait around and see what crops up. Even so, for sheer bang for the buck, I strongly advise checking this MSI out.
It is not at the chopping edge any more but the RTX 3070 inside of need to be serviceable for a great few a long time down the line, you’re likely to have a good deal of storage on the generate, and you really don’t have to have to up grade the RAM to get great out the box general performance. Over-all, it can be just a top-notch equipment for the cash and one that’s up there with the most effective gaming laptop bargains I’ve witnessed this yr.

A mid-range configuration of the Alienware m17 R5 gaming laptop has been put on sale (Image: Notebookcheck)
Thanks to two stackable coupon codes, the usually pretty expensive 17-inch gaming laptop made by the the Dell-owned company can now be bought for US$1,146, which arguably is a reasonable price for this particular all-AMD Alienware m17 R5 configuration.
The Florida-based gaming specialist Alienware, which was acquired by Dell back in 2006, is not exactly known for making gaming laptops that provide an impressive bang for the buck. However, thanks to a current deal, a decent configuration of the Alienware m17 R5 has now received a notable discount at the company’s official online shop.
Specifically, the 17-inch gaming laptop with the fast AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, 16GB of DDR5 dual-channel memory and the AMD Radeon RX 6700M graphics card with 10GB of GDDR6 VRAM can now be ordered for US$1,146 by applying the two stackable coupon codes “GAMING10” and “ARMMPPS” in the shopping cart. In this case, the Alienware m17 R5 comes with the base 1080p display with 165Hz as well as a 512GB SSD. The machine can be freely configured with other components, but the associated surcharges make this specific AMD configuration appealing from a price-performance perspective.
We thoroughly tested a vastly different variant of the Alienware m17 R5 just a few weeks ago, but prospective buyers should still want to check out our comprehensive review video on YouTube as some of our findings also apply to this more affordable configuration. The gaming laptop for example features a sturdy metal chassis and good maintenance options, and we also liked the comparatively quiet cooling system. Overall, this deal for the Alienware m17 R5 can be a reasonable choice for gamers who are in the market for a 17-inch gaming laptop with the renown brand name.
